You do not need a trailer queen to enter the Fredericksburg Car Fest. Daily drivers, weekend cruisers, and works in progress all roll into Marktplatz every June. If you have been thinking about showing your car, this is the year to do it.
Before show day
Register online ahead of time. Entry is $30 per vehicle and includes a dash plaque, a driver packet, and judging in your class. Pick the class that fits your car best; if you are not sure, the registration notes field is the place to ask.
A few days out, give the car a proper wash and a wipe-down of the engine bay and interior. Judges look at presentation, but they also look at originality and the story behind the build, so be ready to talk about your ride.
On the day
Load-in starts at 9 AM. Roll in early, find your class, and set up a chair. Bring water and sunscreen, hang your dash plaque, and enjoy the morning before gates open at noon. Then sit back and let the crowd come to you.
